The book tells the tale of a boy who, following a horrific family tragedy, follows clues that take him to an abandoned orphanage on a Welsh island. The story is told through a combination of narrative and vernacular photographs from the personal archives of collectors listed by the author. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is also the first book of the trilogy and was succeeded by it's sequel Hollow City and completed in The Library of Souls . As of this writing only Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children has a released graphic novel with Hollow City pending online release and The Library of Souls still on production.
